Trinity Lutheran (Walton)

  • About Trinity Lutheran

Trinity Lutheran Church is a community of Christian brothers and sisters who meet together in eastern Lancaster county. In the late 19th century, the farm families who settled this area formed this congregation so that the Word of God could be preached among them and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper received. Now, over 125 years later, we still come together to hear the timeless message of the Gospel; our sins are forgiven for the sake of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Empowered by this forgiveness, we strive to live together in a spirit of peace and harmony, bearing each other's burdens, encouraging each other, and loving each other as Christ has loved us.

Our members today come not only from the surrounding farms, but from a wide geographic area and from a variety of walks of life. As the city of Lincoln grows towards us, we gladly welcome into our congregation all who long for the abundant life which only Christ can give.

"If anyone thirsts," says Jesus, "let him come to Me and drink." Consider yourselves invited!
